Q&A

Questions are good.
Especially about your future.

Here’s how heyforme works, what stays private and what happens when an opportunity finds you.

Can companies browse my profile?+

No. heyforme is not a public talent directory. Opportunities are matched privately. You decide whether you want to engage before your identity or a contextual profile is shared.

Do I have to be looking for a job?+

No. You can join while you are happy where you are. The idea is to stay open to opportunities without spending your life searching for them.

What does heyforme learn about me?+

Your capabilities, experience, interests, direction and the evidence you choose to add. The goal is to understand more than a job title or a static CV can show.

What happens when an opportunity fits?+

You receive a private invitation with the opportunity and an explanation of why it may fit. You can ignore it, save it or choose to engage.

What does the company see before I say yes?+

Only the information needed to establish that there may be a strong fit. Your identity and full contextual profile stay private until you choose to move forward.

Do I need to write a new CV for every role?+

No. When you choose to engage, heyforme can prepare a contextual profile using the most relevant parts of what it knows about you. You review what is shared.

Is heyforme only about jobs?+

Jobs are the first and most immediate use case. The same network can later help surface projects, collaborations, mentors, grants and other opportunities that fit where you want to go.

How is this different from a job board?+

A job board gives you thousands of things to search. heyforme tries to understand you first and only interrupts you when there is a meaningful reason to.

Still curious?

The easiest way to understand heyforme is to make it yours.
